This linen backed four colour lithograph was printed exclusively in very limited numbers for London Transport by cartographers Stanford out of their purpose built Long Acre premises. Each station poster would be displayed inside the station as an informative and detailed reference of the local area, enabling Underground rail passengers to identify exactly where they are in relation to the surrounding streets
