These lovely original blinds originated from Edwardian buses which carried sign-written wooden destination boards, a leftover from stagecoaches.
White on Black - Yellow on Black are the most common. Some Black on Yellow and a few Black on White.
Sizes very in length between 30 inch and 44 inch but the depth is usually a constant 12 inch. This is the overall framed size.
These are rare genuine and original unused 1960's - 70's printed paper signs.
As you can see they're delightful when framed and will never fail to evoke fond memories and conversation.
Most of the yellow background ones are dated from the 1970s. The Black background being 1960s
